The trip leads through a picturesque savannah of bushes and grass. The Welwetschia plant which may become more than 1000 years old can be found at the Pad. Bucks, ostriches and zebras can be observed in an area far from civilization.
The rock engravings of Sosos were discovered only recently and need still to be examined by archaeologists. They are similar to those of Twyfelfontein and are situated approx. 60 km off Sesfontein far away from any roads. In a canyon above a small spring sandstone engravings of the African fauna with giraffes, rhinoceros, lions, elephants and zebras are found.
